installing fog lights

for bumpers that weren't cut at the factory:
95/96 do you cut just the inner part where the raised lines are or all the way to the outside where it is first dipped down?
97+ do you just cut out the bar that goes across where the light should reside?

You have to cut out that area where the light is supposed to be, and then you have to mount the metal brackets that hold the light in place...

Question Regarding fog lights:

I've got a 97 GLE, want to install factory fogs, but the Nissan Dealer is set on telling me that Nissan didn't make the 97 GLE model pre-wired for installation. I find this hard to believe. I swear I see wires that looks like it's for them. Anyone know if this is true?

Just get the CE fogs if you aren't prewired. The CE fogs are good and bright. Check earlier post on those things.

just look at where the fogs are supposed to be. if you see, near the back, a set of connectors rolled and taped up, then they were made for fogs. i just did mine a couple of weeks ago.
