Autometer Temp Gauge with 03 cluster swap

I am doing an 03 gauge cluster swap in my 95 SE. And from the information I found. The Temp gauge on the 03 gauge cluster is read from the ECM where as the 95 temp gauge is read from resistance change of the thermal transmitter. Being that I am not doing a 3.5 swap and not using the ECM from a 2003. The Temp gauge will not work with this swap. I was planning on hooking up an Autometer Temp gauge in piller pod to get around this issue. Has anyone installed an autometer Temp gauge? If how did you wire it up? Thanks
