Besides the procedure, what sprays or cleaners do I need?
I've already googled "cleaning maf" and I've read it for various cars. From what I've read I would need some of one of the following:
-99% pure isopropyl alcohol
-CRC brand electric cleaner

what else do you recommend?

Try CRC MAF cleaner at Pep Boys. Looks like it is made exactly for that purpose.

 

on my old car I used windex and a cotton swab... worked like a charm.
