Car is trowing a 0903 code

Well, like the title says my car is throwing a 0903 code which means there is a problem with the evap system. It has been doing that for about a month now. It was throwing the same with another code 0705. I've changed the canister and the purge valve and the code is still coming on. I've been searching the org for people with this similar problem but they don't experience any problems with the car. But when my car is warming up right now I smell an exhaust type smell in the cabin, which is probably nothing major but the code is really annoying and the NYS Emissions people will be a pain. So what are my options on repairing this? If anyone can help I'll appreciate it. Thanks

Check/replace the gas tank cap.
If it leaks, you'll throw evap system leak codes constantly.

I had the same problem for a long time until I got tired of it. My mechanic after looking up the trouble on ALLDATA replaced my vacuum cut valve, purge solenoid, and finally my evaporator vent control valve. This all cost me a little more than $400 dollars over a period of 3 wks and about 800 miles. I park my car in a garage and got fed up with the constant smell of gas and exhaust whenever I started my car. No codes ever since.

This is a pain code because no one really have a defenate solution to the problem so far ive already changed few things which cost about 150 so far which is ok i can live with that, but its not really defenate solution im goin to try the fuel cap which seems simple fix
