I had a similar issue that I hope is fixed. In the stickies there are write-ups on adjusting idle speed, checking the throttle position sensor (TPS) and cleaning the IAC valve. I did all three, in this order:

- pulled off and cleaned IAC. There was some black and brown crud on it, and a scary amount of the same visible inside the intake plenum.
- checked the TPS voltage and resistance (all good).
- adjusted the idle speed screw with the TPS disconnected. I think this was the actual fix.

I had recently pulled off the air intake, throttle body, and intake plenum, and something must have moved when I reinstalled everything.

Also check Throttle Body. Dirtly throttle bidy means - less air = low rmps. Clean it, there is a sticky in the How To's section, and then adjust the idle with the idle screw on IACV valve
