My trannie travails continued
The good news is, I went to the local nissan dealership and the top mechanic was kind enough to run a thorough diagnosis on all tranny harness wires including the drop resistor. I avoid infiniti dealers at all costs Anyway, it turned out everything was good except the wires running to the drop resistor were broken in 2 places but the insulation was still intact.
After repairing the problem all the tranny codes disappeared and now she's running like a champ. The tranny never shifted so well and the new 3200 stall speed TQ makes the car lay rubber into 2nd gear. And this is without
N2O.
Now for the bad news, the tranny must be removed and the pump seal must be replaced and tranny reinstalled. I decided not to try and fix blame to NRH
or the local shop that reinstalled it becaude everyone lies and I can't prove a damn thing!
I don't know if I should let the same nissan dealer fix it or go to a local ATRA rated tranny shop?????
