In January some young girl in her big SUV was going too fast and came up to a red light with a car stopped at it. She realized she couldn't stop so she swerved right into my dad and messed up the front left corner of the Maxima. She probably did the right thing but the Maxima was still messed up. You can see that damage in the picture I am going to attach. Its not too bad but the whole bumper was shifted. So my dad has it repaired, we get it back and it looks pretty good until I have a close look at it. The bumper on the right side is too low. There is a gap between the bumper and the right side of the grill that I can fit my fingers in. The gap between the headlight and the bumper is also larger than on the passenger side. The rubber stuff around the light has come loose on the bottom and has been pushed back. Can I adjust the bumper on the driver side up about 1/2 to 3/4 an inch? Maybe some of you that changed out 96-96 for 97-99 bumpers can help. It doesn't bother my dad at all but I notice it every time I see the car. If I had the car it would have been back out to the body shop the next day. Well, thanks in advance.
