Is this the AMB sensor? (PICS)

I just put in my CAI, but kept the stock resonator (accordion thing)
The sensor above was plugged into the stock air scoop/snorkel whatever through a rubber grommet, right before it meets the air box.
The instructions mentioned that i would have to plug the AMB sensor into the midpipe that connects the throttle body to MAF. Since i didnt use that midpipe wtf do i do with it now. Currently it is ziptied somewhere in there hehe.
Also, what is it for? I thought it has to do with the AMB button on my A/C but im not sure.

Woo, nice 4 hour sleep's got me refreshed and my hands are still soooo filthy
So no one knows what to do with this little guy? If the wire was longer i would stick it down away from the engine bay but its not so i guess ill leave it and hope for the best
Its stupid tho, why would you make a place for something that is in the air snorkel on the midpipe between TB and MAF. And none of the writeups mentioned it either

Thats the air intake temp sensor.
AMB temp sensor sits just behind the front grill next to the horn.

It does absolutely nothing important.
Just leave laying somewhere out of sight and forget about it.
Thats what I did

lol.. i can certainly do that. It just sounds like some sensor the car uses to decide air/fuel mixture... yea i have no clue what im talkin about.
I've been driving the car for a few hours and i can feel it pull harder now ( no, not imagining things) since the lag between when you floor it and when you accelarate is pretty much gone(was like half a second before the CAI). Definately worth all the cuts on my hands:
