need some help trying to figure out what is wrong
ok...im not sure what this could be, and any help would be great! when i accelerate normally, its extremely sluggish and i need to push about half of the gas pedal down to just normally accelerate. when i slam it almost to the floor, it finally gives it a good amount of gas and pickup, and when im crusing, it feels like it wants to downshift and feels like it will stall, but never does. anyone know or have the slightest idea what this could be???

Why don't you go check for codes...
It will tell you if it's the KS (or something else possibly)
by the way...

just in case you were gonna ask how to pull codes...

try reseting the ecu before freaking out....sometimes it kinda gives the sensor a kick in the ***...there is a turn screw on the ecu that you can turn to reset the ecu...95-98 only. or just unplug the batt for 30 min and try again...reseting the ecu steps are fairly easy...just keep ignition on, turn scres counterclock wise all the way till it stops(go lightly till u feel something stopping), hold for 2 sec then all the wayclock wise and hold for 2 seconds. Shut off ignition and then start car...it should work...by the way, the screw is right on the right of the gas pedal, remove the plastic cove and you'll see the car's computer with screw behind a clear plastic...good luck

also ... try getting under your hood and listening for a vacuum leak, rev the engine and listen. check vacuum hoses. become familiar with the car!

You might not hear a vacuum leak if you rev the car, you usally hear those more at idle since thats when the car is drawing the most vacuum.
I suggest spraying around everywhere that could be a possible vacuum leak with carb cleaner or tb cleaner or something like that and if the engine dies down a bit while your spraying you have found your vacuum leak.
