Good and inexpensive car cover

I just got my maxima repainted and wanted to protect my investment. What car cover would be good to go with? I've seen several on ebay, but I'm not sure which ones to go with. The prices range from $35 to $110 and beyond. Is there a preference in terms of name brand like coverking, dupont? I guess getting one from walmart would be out of the question? I posted this in the detailing forum, but didn't get a reply.

interested in a reponce. I thought most auto stores sold a universal cover to fit most cars? Dont know about the quality though.

I went with a Simoniz from a local store. My car is garaged so I didn't need to get one that was waterproof, had special UV protection or multi-layering. I opened up a few boxes and looked at material quality and assembly at the seams. Was the best of the lot...

I think your high number is really at the lower end of the range for one that is worth buying and putting on religiously...

for protecting such an expensive investment as a new pain job, it is probably worth it to spend a few extra bucks. i got one around $150. it is a custom fit to the Maxima. it is a 4-layer one for outdoor use. a soft inner layer, two waterproof layers and a uv-protection outter shell. definitely quality. from covercraft, i think. i love it as during the winter when i'm at school, the car sits outside.

well, covercraft has a bunch of different lines for outdoor/indoor and such. I went with the Noah, as it was waterproof and one of the best for outdoor use. http://216.60.144.111/ecatcust/review.asp?vid=328332441 That's exactly what I got, but I shopped around for a better deal for a while. Good luck! And this thing fits so nice! Very high quality.

The cheapest I found was $198. It's like all of the vendor websites link to the main website.

u should also invest in the invisible mask by 3m....perfectly clear coating fro the front bumper and fornt portion of hood protects from stone chips.....

I was able to get a good deal on the Noah custom car cover for the maxima by chance. I saw an ebay listing by Wolf Automotive; it was for a Block It evolution car cover for $139. I called their number and was able to get the Noah for only $10 more! Total price with shipping came to about $163. That beats the $198 that I've been seeing.
