I was talking to a friend last night and he told me that he could get me more than 5-8 horsepower out of and intake (CAI). Also he said that there is noway i could get between 70-80 horsepower with a super charger. Is he right about both or is he just running his mouth.

5-8 HP with a CAI is feasible, but not a sure thing (closer to 5 then 8). 70 - 80 HP with a supercharger is not unheard of (with the right size pulley).
