Replacement coil pack--anyone have problems?

I have a 95 GLE with 184k miles, been working through some rough running and missing problems. Lots of work and head scratching has gotten the engine running very nicely on five cylinders, however I can't get the last one to fire. This was the #5 cylinder, I replaced the coil pack (after getting questionable results from testing with an ohmmeter) and it still wouldn't fire, switched the coil pack with #3 and #3 won't fire, #5 is fine. I got the coil pack replaced at the auto parts store thinking perhaps it was defective, and it's the same story...won't fire. I can't get a 6th cylinder to fire, don't really understand. Only thing I can figure is that there's something up with the replacement coil pack. If I pull the plug and coil pack out and watch it I get a spark, so I know the thing is working...is it possible the replacement boot isn't correctly size and I'm not getting contact when it's installed? I really can't think of anything else...anyone had any similar problems? Thanks!

id reset my ECU for ****s and giggles. ..I think there is something fishy with the aftermarket coil/boot.

I do have a set of OEM NISSAN COILS all 6 for 60 shipped. Good to have ;0) froma 95 GLE with 120k tested fine no issues.
