If you look closely, you'll see that the can is lying flat and perpendicular to the engine rather than upside-down.

You did see the stream I sprayed in the 2nd video, didn't you?

Keep in mind, too, that Deep Creep is concentrated Seafoam, so you do not have to flood your manifold to get results.

Which product did you use? Seafoam, or Deep Creep?

Deep Creep Comes With A Spray Tube!!!!

Good news, everyone!

Deep Creep is SUPPOSED to come with a detachable spray tube (y'know, those little red straws that they tape to the sides of the can).

While wandering around a NAPA auto parts store, I saw a bunch of Deep Creep cans WITH the spray tube.

JUST MY LUCK! I had to buy one that had no tube. This solves the problem of having to turn the can on its side to reach the manifold.

So-o-o-o, I am going to redo the part of the video where I push the spray button, only this time the can will be held upright, and the little red tube will be inserted inside the manifold connector.

Much easier, and all of the spray will go into the manifold.

I used just the regular seafoam, I had great results, a lot of smoke though. The pick up increased greatly. A few days after I put new spark plugs in too and that made even more improvements. I used the bosch platinums. I highly recommend seafoam!

I love how this guy in the video talks like he is performing brain surgery or somehitng... The simple 2 step process is a little drawn out with the video..

Step 1: take hose off brake booster
Step 2: spray in the seafoam

Why does it have to be more complicated than that?

I think this weekend Ill take a video and show you guys how I check the oil.

just kidding dude.. I can see how dedicated you are to the upkeep of your baby.. That is admirable.

Only if it's an Oxford sock.

I filmed the video in a parking garage on a Sunday so there would be nobody around to interrupt me. Since I had no way of cleaning my hands before getting back into my car, I decided to do the CSI shtick with the latex gloves.

I would have worn my long black dress gloves, but I left them at the cleaners.

i kept partial throttle (about 2000rpms - the engine will die with the brake booster hose disconnected at idle) and sprayed about half can. after spraying put the hose back on and let it run for a few more. didn't notice any difference afterwards though so can't tell that it had any benefit.

Uhh... I am not sure if this popped up anywhere but I am afraid the straw will somehow fall off the can and get sucked into the brake booster, haha

I am old school I use the can and just pour Seafoam into the brake booster rather than use Deep Creep. I mean what could happen if a straw somehow got sucked down there?

Yea dude I just noticed when I bought some 2 weeks ago! I remember when I first bought Seafoam for my 3rd gen in 2005, it was 5.99 and two weeks ago when I go look on the shelf I nearly fainted to see at how much the price went up in just 4 years lol

sorry to post in an old *** thread, but...if seafoam cleans carbon deposits, etc from the motor, can't this cause oil leaks/burning? i.e. if carbon is sitting on valve seals, or , some other seal, etc if this is removed, and if the seal is older, can't the removal of the carbon cause leaks and/or burning of oil due to the seal relying on the carbon to hold it together (in a sense)? the obvious answer would be to replace these seals as well with reg maintenence but what if you are unsuspecting of this to happen, and/or under the mileage to begin to replace rings/gaskets/seals?

Not sure about Seafoam, but AutoRx (added to oil) definitely does. I got a minor oil leak after the AutoRx treatment. They say it's worse with synthetic oil. The leak seems to have gotten better though, maybe as more buildup forms?

So I have a few questions:

I just failed a smog test and would like to try this stuff. What Im worried about right now is the $100 worth of spark plugs I just recently put in. Will it damage them? Other than that, I plan on putting 1/3 in the gas, 1/3 in the oil crankcase, 1/3 through the brake booster line. My car has 133k miles FYI. Thanks!

I Seafoam'd my '97 SE half in the tank and half through the brake booster because I didn't know if I'd be able to get an oil change right away (though I've read that a few hundred miles is okay, and I've also read that more than half an hour will lead to certain and utter destruction). The car idles a bit smoother, lower by 1-200RPM, and is a little harder to stall from a dead stop, but otherwise isn't much changed - not that it was running poorly or anything, but I had just bought it and wanted it in tip-top shape.

Anyway, my question: I didn't put any in the crankcase, but does it make any significant difference? If anyone's tried with and without and it makes a difference, I might try it when I get back home for spring break. But then again, the car runs just fine and there's not really any *need* for it, so maybe I won't.

02 sensors cost way too much to risk fouling them expecially when my car is running good.
