What Needs To Be Done at 210km?
Me and my dad were have a convorsation about my wonderful maxima and he brought up a good point, my maxima currently has 210,000km on it and he says i should find out what has to be done to it before i put anymore mods on it. So im just wondering if there is anything i should be worried about, he brought up the timeing chain and getting the rust checked out.
If anyone has anything else they think i should get checked out it would be great I wanna make sure everything is ok before i continue to mod it.

Check the ECU for the KS code or fix any code that triggers the CEL but other then that you should be good. The timing chain made to last the life of the car which is quite sometime 130K is nothing for these cars they are just starting to get broke in.

my car has 189,000 miles man .... not kilomoters .... and it's running fine ... but when I bought it at 184,000 miles, I had to change the alternator and water pump. And the usual full tune up .... so if your car is running fine, do some normal maintenance as usual and enjoy your car ... good luck with it ...

hey dodd,
As stated above the timing chain will not need to be changed. Fluids oil change and make sure there are no oil leaks. Take you car to a Nissan Dealership and just tell one of the service reps that your CEL was on and now its off and see if one of the techs can run a CONSULT check. CONSULT is a tech computer that they can hook up to your car and make sure there are no codes being thrown. Also have the service tech see if there are any bulletins on your car for free replacement as far as alternators or coil packs. Change out your spark plugs and replace them with OEM NGK platinum plugs you should look to spend about 10-12 bucks a piece on them. If auto do a tranny flush, that should be good for now I have 162,000 miles on my 95 and it is running just like I got it at 47,000 miles just a lot better with my mods..

usually fuel injection flush, throttle body cleaner, new plugs (plats), air filter (if you need it) oil change, fuel filter change, if auto 4 quarts of fluid, and just basic check of any other things going wrong with the car i.e. knock sensor O2 sensor.
