Just Bought A 5th Gen!

Hey guys, I just bought a 5th gen, going to go pick it up tomorrow. It's a 2000 SE 5spd. Forest green, with tan leather. It needs some body work...got some surface rust, but thats about it. Picked it up for $2800, and its got about 210km in Canada, or 130k miles in the States. I came from owning 2 4th gens. One, a 95 SE 5spd....sold it. The other a 98 GXE auto...for sale right now. I missed having the 5spd so I had to buy another one, which happened to be a 5th gen.
I have a few questions. First I have a alot of 4th gen parts lying around, can I use some of them on the 5th gen? ie. K-Sport coilovers, fed spec y-pipe, cat back, cold air, and FSB. Sorry for being such a newb, but I'm happy to part with my 4th gens, and welcome a 5th gen. I have lot of plans for it, can't wait to get modding!

Good to see another manual 5th gen owner on the boards. Sounds like you got a decent deal on the car assuming the body work is minimal.

how 'bout some upgraded brakes... that would never hurt.
And I'm always all-for lowering.... just some ideas.. goin fast is one thing but being able to handle, handle it, and stop are just as important!

take the injen off and do the free GAB since it's proven more whp......
or buy another midpipe and do the true CAI.

Oh and Search... it's there so we don't have repeated posts..

one more thing... don't jack someone's thread!

Read the FAQ's, How To's, and Stickies to find out more.

The SSIM and VIAS + IM spacers are great.
NWP engineering ftw!

street racing isn't a good idea to talk about on this site, is it?

The race will be at Silverdollar Drag way in Renolds Ga... I Got 90 Days to get this right. I have a 50 shot of gas kit, but kinda worried about putting it on. Me and some other people are going to this drag strip to see what it will do Next Friday...

Everyone says congrats on getting a 5th Gen. Well, I do too. But congrats on getting back into a 3-pedal. I bet your left foot was getting bored in your last car.
