The turbo is only spun from the front bank of the exhaust?
This thing is not for the rookie.

hmmm...the guy is selling because he decided to "install a 300zxTT engine into his maxima"...sketchy ****

And it looks like it is spun by both banks - the first pic just doesn't do it justice. For that price it's very tempting...but I don't know if I'd trust that turbo kit because of the statement I quoted above...plus, it'll go far beyond $500 after a 7 day auction, so no use in getting my hopes up now.

I also checked shipping...$17 to my door...that seems hella low, and he doesn't offer shipping insurance...

He's gonna install...a longitudinally mounted engine into a front drive Maxima? He could have come up with a better lie...

piping seems to sit low like it would dip under the front motor mount.

looks like it should work... i question that it's never been used... if i had the money and a spare car i'd give it a try as long as it didn't go over 7-800...

I'm so tempted, but his lack of "expertise" as shown when he said he's doing a 300zxtt swap on his Maxima is scaring me away. The install doesn't look that bad - he states neither the engine or tranny have to come out. And: he says the ground clearance shouldn't be affected, and is the reason that the front motor mount as to be moved slightly.

and IIRC, he said the turbo hasn't been used, I can't remember if he mentioned the piping or not.

Man it's so tempting - but that stupid Z engine statement, and all the extra parts cost, and the fact that my 5G clutch kit with 10k miles on it wouldn't survive boost keep me from taking the dive...I guess Ill just see what the bidding gets up to, I'm sure I'll feel better after people start bidding on this.

this guy is really shady. I asked him if I could take a quick look at it and look what he wrote to me.

"Thanks for yor interest. Sorry, due to my schedule I won't be able to show the item in person. I'f you're interested, please consider bidding. Thanks again."
