do i need to reset my ECU after each mod i install?? is this necessary or not? so far i have a rear section exhaust and weapon r HAI. it seems to run a little rich since i put on the intake. do i need to reset my computer? if so, how do i do it? its pretty easy, right?

With regular bolt-on's, you wouldn't need to reset your ECU at all.

 

would it help anything if i did reset it? also, has anybody heard of a hybrid air or cold air intake actually cutting down on your mpg. i think my mpg has gone down.

 

As they say, chances are you're being heavy on the throttle now to hear the exhaust and intake. Have you actually checked your MPG since installing them compared to before?

 

You can't "reset" your ECU.
You can clear error codes via the screw on the side or an ODBII scan tool.
It doesn't "reset" anything, it only clears error codes.
