On cold start, max stumbles for a little, then recovers. No SES
Lately w/ my max, when I cold-start it, it'll try to start like normal, but then the engine will stumble for a little and then recover. Sometimes it stalls out, but usually it recovers. Plugs and fuel filter were changed at 104K and I know they're designed to go 60K b/w tuneups. I don't have a SES on after startup. Any ideas w/ the cold-start issue? Mileage is shown below

hey I have had the same kinda problem, its not regular, but once and while it'll kinda stumble, and recover. It's never stumbled and shut off complelety yet, but otherwise, the car starts perfectly fine. Weird, wish I could help ya out.

Same thing with mine... it'd start and the rpm's would rise to 1,300ish then imediately die, but not all the time.
I took off the intake hoses, cleaned the butterfly plate front and back with some intake cleaner, and made sure to brush out the two little idle air holes just in front of the plate with an old tooth brush, and I haven't had the problem since.... much better throttle response in lower rpm's too.

CLEAN THROTTLE BODY -- fix problem
mine did the same thing for awhile, but then i took of the intake, and sprayed intake/throttle body cleaner in there and toothbrushed it out. now it starts perfectly every time and runs awesomely, even when there is like 10 inches of snow on it and it hasnt been run for 3 days lol. max's kick ***.
