Annoying Auto
First the auto wouldn't start in the right gear from a slow roll (~5mph), so I upgraded and cleaned my grounding and that helped a little. Now everyonce and a while when I let off the gas its like my torque converter doesn't disengage. Like in a MT when you just let off the gas, it kinda falls over itself, but then the car coasts like normal. Is my torque converter on its way out? Or is this perfectly normal...

if that does it work try talking out on a open quiet road and drive it to 45 or 35 and try to play with the overdrive button on/off you will defentley fell some torque converting.

I still dont really understand you vq... But as long as its something that happens to other ppl its all good. Only seems to do it the first couple miles of the day. Autos are freaking annoying, I can never tell if something is wrong or if its just being a crappy auto tranny.

If you listen to and feel your auto tranny you can drive it very smoothly and get it to shift and do exactly what you want it to do. You need to work with it.
The TC will lock and stay locked over 30 MPH when the tranny is at operating temp and your crusing with little to no load. It will unlock if you tap the brakes or accellerate a bit more.
There's nothing wrong with your car, you just need to learn how your tranny works.
