heres an idea about Greddy SP2

well i was thinkin that i want more grumble as of right now with my current exhaust set up.....Greddy SP2. it has a resonator on the b-pipe, and i was thinkin to get it cut of and weld flanges on both sides of it, and on both ends of the section of the b-pipe, and get a pipe that would fit that cut-out and weld flanges on to that. thats only just in case i would want the resonator back in.

well my question is, how would it sound with everything pre-cat and cat stock, and greddy sp2 w/o resonator. a little bit louder maybe? and i am not trying to be ricey with the sound i just want a bit more grumble for not much $$. opinions will be nice, and please dont flame me or the topic.

get a y-pipe

you have to be a retard to cut up an exhaust just cause it's quiet. guess what, it was made to be quiet. get a y-pipe and you'll think it's too loud.

A Y-pipe is the simple solution to this.....

you don't want to remove resonators.

The Y-pipe will give you that rumble you want instead of cuttin and welding unnecessary ****.

I have the y-pipe with the greddy Sp2 Catback, no resonator. Well, since you have no y-pipe, the first time you put on the catback, It should be loud.. But once it kicks in, it gets almost quiet. You still hear a nice drone and all.

I let my boy drive it, and when he steppd on the gas, the sound was nice and deep, not loud.. I heard my max from at least 3 blocks down and going when he kept going. Kinda like How the G35 are, when there down like 2 blocks, you can still kind of hear the exhaust, thats how yours is going to be
