Door Open Talking

lol Im tired so i dont know how i would phrase this

I want it so that my car will tell me verbally, that my door is open with the keys in it. I've seen it done in movies, not in real life, but i dont imagine. You know how it beeps, id rather have it so it would tell me a verbal message. This isnt something i can do or afford right now, but in the future i think it would be something kind of cool to mess with.

My dad used to have an 84 or 86 maxima (it might have even been an 88, not too sure) and it had warnings like that. It would say left or right door open, lights are on, etc. Maybe you can find some more info on that.

Not just any second gen. Buy a non floater 2nd gen. Floaters like mine are the ones that were intended for other countries that have the bell tone. Good luck. If you are good with wiring diagrams you could wire it in but good luck.

My old 88 300zx did that. I thought it was cool at first, but soon became annoying.

after a while I just wanted to slap the b*tch

but yea, find a unit from an old car that did it, or maybe they sell aftermarket ones somewhere.

It is more of a novelty (that gets old quickly). If people really liked it, the feature would still be around.
