Anyone know Mobil 1 Oil Filter Part #?

Currently I use K&N oil filter HP-1010 but I know that Mobil 1 makes one for our car and I think it would be better quality... Anyone know the part number for it and which stores carry or could order it? I heard VIP has them? Thanks!!

I believe its the M1-110 part #...this is the one I used for my 96 maxima...

you can always go with OEM 9e000 filters...they are great quality filters and cheap from Dave B!

well, right now I run Mobil 1 Extended performance 10W-30 oil, so I'm looking for a filter that will be the best for the car with that oil and 5W-30. I figure Mobil 1 is probably very high quality.

I think there was a debate about this a while back right? I'll try to find it.

edit: at quick glance can't really find much on this. in 5 minutes I found a +1 for the 110. I don't think I'm searching for the right phrase though...

So it may seem that in this day and age on a 3000mile change cycle, oil is oil and a filter is a filter.?

It's the MT-110, and it runs around $11 in my area. Just use the catalog with part numbers in the store.

I strongly recommend buying the $7.50 Bosch Premium instead - it is the same oil filter as the Mobil1, and has the same filtration performance. 2 years ago I was able to compare them both at the store and confirm that they were identical in every way, and listed the same filtration results. Last year Mobil1 did some cosmetic changes to the packaging and filter canister to make this less obvious, but they are functionally identical.

I'll pay $7.50 for a better filter, but over $10 is silly.
