Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Well lately, in the morning, when starting my car, it starts up and then dies immediately. As if it was one of those older cars where you had to step on the gas just to get it started. Well, I've been finding my self doing that lately which can't be a good thing., Also noticed that this is more apparent in the colder weather.

Well these past few days when I have been starting the car to go to work, it also hesitates but this time, makes a clunking rattling noise and doesn't want to start but it eventually sputters to start.

Does anyone have a clue as to what this could be.. oh yeah.. this is pushing 188K miles.. :-) 188K MORE!... not likely though..

Also, I can't see the point of bringing it to a garage if the issue is not always consistent...

 

try ur fuel pressure regulator... clean all ur engine grounds... check fuel pressure... and do a tune up... that should help

 

I'd say get a grounding kit and see if it helps.
