glue for bodykit

i need some kind of glue to hold my ionic dynamics rear valances in place.... i tried the bonding tape but its just too wide and shows through the crack... also the pieces are a lil "crooked" so if u try to screw them under the car first, huge gap apears on the front...so im thinking getting some kind of glue to put it on and let it dry over night and then just screw the screws in as a safety measure, ppl at autozone didnt know what i was taking about and just kept pointing at m3 tape.... anybody knows which glue should get the job done?

So you tried the doublesided tape already? It's pretty thin....

well, if you don't ever want it coming off again, you could try some medium/quick set epoxy. Just make sure you clamp the valance on good while it is drying.

Gorilla glue maybe? But I think that would also be a permanent fix.

that would work, but it needs moisture to cure right...so it would be weird trying to use it. Plus it expands and gets all over the place.

I would use a bead of silicone or caulk, something that you can use in the caulk gun so you can get an even straight bead of glue.

there are a few types of double sided tape for body work one is red and the other is white.(not white with green stipes on the other side just solid white.) autozone had the red and you can ask any body shop for the white, they should give you some. White is the stongest. Anyway you have to some what heat the tape up when you get it one the car with a blow dryer not a heat gun that gets to hot and if your not careful you will melt your kit. Glues are ok but if you want it done right you should use the white body tape and make sure that when you put it on heat it up so that way it adhears beater and make sure the area is clean of any dirt. You could even rivet them in.
