auto tranny problem

ok it does not go in reverse. And it now does not go in 3rd or overdrive. If i cut the over drive off it will just go into neutral. And if I leave it in drive it will go to 2nd gear and when I let off the pedal it will go into neurtal. And then when I get bACK on the pedel and get the rpms back up then it will go back in gear. If i get on it too hard it will slip out of gear. But if I put the shifter in the 2nd postion it will not slip out of gear it will shift and hold first and second. SO what could be wrong? Is it the tcm? Or is the tranny shot

I've never heard of the TCM going bad on our cars (at least the 4th gen), but the problems could be clutch packs or the solenoids. Do you get any codes? 1106/1107?

Should be in the stickies.

But the CEL will give you some basic tranny codes, do you have a CEL? You should if it won't take 3rd or 4th.
