I'm currently using NGK Iridiums and they do their job. The only thing I think thats better about them is they last a long time. I used to have platinum +4s and I never had problems with them but a lot of people say to stay away from them.

NGK2647 (PFR5G-11) Double Platinum. Put Bosch in German cars, or the nearest receptacle.

NGK Plats for 60K normal performance.

For colder plugs ... NGK Coppers, but they have to be changed at 30K.

The best kind of spark plug is no plug at all. What I do is hire/purchase 6 midgets or children under 6 to stay under the hood at all times holding bic lighters. The coil pack is wired to give them an electric shock everytime it is time to put the lighter in the hole and ignite the mixture, then quickly cover the hole with their thumb to maintain engine compression. I use 1 person per cylinder to maintain peak performance espcially at higher rpm's because those little hands get tired on long drives and/or if im redlining it a lot.

Thanks to the maxima's advanced OBDII diagnostic system, if there is a cylinder misfire the computer will tell me, for example Cylinder #3 misfire. Then I just go to whoever is on cylinder 3 and take it from there. Its great.

The only hard part is banging on the hood in the morning to wake them up so i am able to start the engine and let it warm up for 10 minutes while i am inside enjoying a cream cheese bagel.

Cant say something is the best if you havent used any other plugs! All in all It dosent really matter what plugs you use unless they work, and you maintain them! Also just because Bosch is made in Germany dosen't mean its for German cars! And all of you who think an iridium denso or NGK are the best plugs out there think again! Iridium is more expensive and lasts longer! Since Iridium is a tougher element than Platinum! However Silver is a better conductor of electricity than both of these elements but doesn’t last as long! So if there really is a difference in Spark Silver plugs are the best simply due to the properties of elements!

Damn Ottawa & their loose child labour laws, guess there's no chance of that filtering to Toronto eh? Because of our draconian laws here, I was only able to use 3 of them between the ages of 6-8. Since I have the V6 VQDE, this meant each had to use a pair oh hands. The upside is they alternately rest one hand on the highway, thereby going into 6>3 fuel conserving mode. damn I hate tree-huggers

Just shows you how damaging child protection laws really are. After all, with only 3 kids, one of them is going to have to cover a cylinder on either side of the engine. That means he/she wont be able to see what they are doing with one or both of their hands and that could lead to a misfire at high rpm's. Thats why i hate child protection laws.

Copper plugs can be used in the same heat ranges, whether hot or cold, as Pt/Ir etc, so your statement makes no sense.
