Maxima price range

Hey guys,

I found a 98 maxima black 5spd, in good condition. Everything looks good and has around 108k miles on the odo. Has basic things no sun/moon roof or abs, just the way I like it. What's a fair price range for this vehicle? Is 7k reasonable?

Thanks for your inputs, much obliged.

Whatever you do, get underneath it and shake the driver's side axle right near where it enters the differential. Any play at all suggests it has bad transmission bearings, and that you should knock $700-1000 off the price for a rebuild.

While I don't believe that's a reason to not buy it, it's something you don't want to catch you by surprise.

No leather, no moonroof, no ABS...is it at least an SE? I wouldn't pay more than 5000 for it.
