trunk lid lock

anyone know if to change the trunk lid lock you need to remove just the lock or the lock and the piece that locks the lid?

just the key part. its fairly simple to remove. pull off the carpet, reach up and in the backside of the lid and pull on the L shaped peice of metal. Its like a big clip that holds the key cylendar. then un hook the connecting rod and pull it out.

this has been coming up a lot, it seems. reminded me that my lock is kind of corroded. how much does a new cylinder cost? is it a delear thing or something that any locksmith can take care of?

There will also be a sensor for the keyless entry system that needs to be removed.
