All. Since that award came out in 1994, the VQ engine has been on it--I think that says something. These are some goodass engines.

It's been featured on Wards 10 Best since its inception in the USA, and it's demise. (95-01).

It's a strong statement stating it won, since yes it did win a spot, but that lists is merely a list, and not a ranked list. 1st is not better than last here.

Every year the since the VQ was out it has been on the Ward's list everytime. So yes since 94/95.

Damn I saw those "top 10"s that Wards puts out and wow, I was surprised the Mitsubishi 6g72 3.0L V6 was never on it. That's surprising. Don't get me wrong, but my Eclipse's 6g72 is the one thing that reminds me of my good 'ol Maxima the most (And I still say the VQ30 is a tad better than the 6g72.)

If only it had a better fuel/timing map from the factory, it would be an even better engine.
