Widebody kits available for 4th Gen Max.... almost!!

I've been talking with Diverse Motorsports about 'custom' widebody kits for my S13 roadster and 99 Max. In talking with them, they have said that they can/will produce a line of widebodys for the 4th and 5th gen... They have one for the 02 & up Altima and it would be a very minor step to adapt it to the Max. I though I'd give them some props, cause I'm going to order one custom. Though I'm just ordering both for the rear, because of my 99 -> 03 Max frontend conversion and my S13 -> S15 conversion.

They have a 4th gen for fitment, so if you're intersted, let them know... and tell them I sent ya.

I dunno about you, but I like the look of the Dodge Charger. To me this hearkens to that look.

It really doesnt have to bee rice. If they could desing one with wider fenders and such it would look more stock. I think a wider looking stance on the max might look hot. Like to see the ideas tho.

I would like to see a pic with just the kit on car, no CF, wing or vinyl to distract from the kit.

yes its nice...but honestly bro i dont think it flows too well. Dont get me wrong i love the fact there were actually getting this done, but if it flowed allitle bit more smoothly it will look hot.

i guess maybe im saying that because it doesnt look right on the altima, but i would buy it if i was goin gin the body kit direction

not too bad on the alti. could have been much worse and very ricey, but i think it's done pretty good. it donesn't look like it quite fits the style of the car, but i don't think it's ugly.

I would like to see what it would look like as well and would probably buy it if I like the look of it, are they going to make a new bumpers and sideskirts for this kit as well or just the side pieces?

You would need some huge spacers, extend the gas filler neck and lots of custom body work. Kind of ugly and will be the most expensive kit I am sure, and the most expensive to paint and install. This kind of kit can't be painted off the car like other kits and put on. You need to do alot of custom work to make it fit and look good. I would love to see a 4th gen with this kit but doen't look like anyone likes it.

I just don't see how its worth it to them to make one for a 7+ yr old car. But hey whatever works. This just means there's going to be more riced out maximas.

On the altima the kit looks good but i wouldnt want that style on the maxima. It wouldnt flow right. I just wish i had fender flares that stuck out a little bit more. Kind of how Jdub has on his 5th gen.

10.5" wheels fit the maxima without a wide body kit..

I think itd be better to see some pictures before we start pessimisticly nitpicking at every possible negative aspect of the kit.

Ditto...I like the idea of it. Nice to have the option of something like that too...could be really hot.

I'd be interested in seeing pictures of a 4th gen...I suspect the kit would have to be more square to fit the styling.

HOWEVER

A 6th gen Maxima would look disturbingly SICK in this that kit....I think the lines of the 6th gen would totally rock that kit.

I think if it was a hybrid widebody that flowed like/with a Stillen kit I think it would look good. The square like pieces fit the altima more than the max because of the shape of the rear end on the alti than the max in the photoshop. Either way it would be expensive, cause not only will there be body work, but you would have to get new rims to compliment the kit as well, to each his own though I'm sure there are some big timers that would jump on it.
