that is so hot, its already at 1400 bucks damn. Im sure they cleaned it up, there would have to be stone chips and dirty cloth but it could all be cleaned up. I got my 97 and after 6 months the stone chips started to show where it was painted.

holy toast... thats a clean car for it having that many miles on it, but even if its looks good externally and internally, doesn't mean the mechanisms would be just as good... rather easy thing to accomplish if u just clean the car up...

I don't care how clean it is.....I wouldn't pay more than $500 for that max. It has over 300K I am sure it needs some serious work done to it. For the price and mileage it is far from a good deal. I can clean a trashed interior and make it look good again, not that hard.

I agree. 175K is still young but 300k, problems are bound to start surfacing.

Although the miles are up on this vehicle these miles are from a long daily commute on the highway where the engine and transmission are working at their optimal temperature.
If this Max really was driven on long daily commutes, I'd take it over one that had half the mileage, if the one with half the mileage was mostly city driven. My friend's 95 Max, which was passed to his wife, then passed to his son has over 450,000 KM on it, and it's still in great condition, and yeah, most of the mileage is highway mileage.

looks like someone drove it cross country a couple times right from the showroom, on perfect roads, and the owner hired chuck norris to protect the car from any damage

1. Good camera angle.
2. $200 detail job.
3. The fact that you can't see dirt/damage too well on white
4. Photoshop

Sorry bad joke... But honestly, it looks really nice for having that many miles on it.

What's amazing is the car only sells for $1,500. I was looking at cars like that in 1997, USED, and they were selling retail for around 18k. One that was dirt cheap was $14,995, retail. $1,500 is a good price if you can do all the work yourself, but I dunno, for that mileage, I'd rather pay $3,500 and get a fully-loaded 98 with only 120k or so. The extra 2 grand to take that many miles off is worth it, but again, that's me.

Umm hello? does anyone here wash/detail their own car? I do its 11 years old with 116k and my entire car looks like its show room condition because its just upkept every week. Its not hard, once a week of a nice detail will keep the car looking as good as that. Further more 300k no rock chips = repainted. Everyone who has seem my car in person can tell you its probably one of the cleanest if not the cleanest 95. Dirt in my engine bay I don't think so.

you guys have to remember that there's a dealer selling it. All they do is take it to a detail shop and pay couple hundred or less and the engine bay is steam cleaned, intereior cleaned, and a nice wash/wax and call it a day. My max was cleaner than a babies bottom when I bought it w/ 120k. Cleaning a car doesn't fix mechanical problems.

Seriously it's lipstick on a pig. Not knowing how it was taken care of or anything but that car has had the **** driven out of it. Caveat emptor.

You notice there is hardly any dust where you reset the trip odometer?

Too amazing. I have 50k less miles and there is very noticable dust there.

I've been in the same business for over a year now.

Plus the fact that the camara hides quite a bit. A good photographer can make any car look fantastic. That car is white, hides everything.
I sold my 91 Jaguar for a huge profit, thanks to a good detail and some excellent photography work.

You never know what your really going to get off Ebay.

I have 1/5th the mileage of that car on my 95SE. I guess it's a keeper as it too has mostly highway miles on it.

A long commute has extended the life of that vehicle. It may well have the original tranny if the gears weren't used continually. The car may have been driven on cruise control most of the time.

He's got a couple of different tires on there, Michelin and Kelly. Maybe he did some burnouts and had to get new ones....

thats still unbelievably clean. 300k is a bit weary.

funny, cause i thought i bought my max at a way too high mileage. i got 189k on my clock and paid 2400. by next year im def. at 200k.

and i agree that interior is ugly. i never liked tan.

Then again, 326+K is proof on how far our VQ's can last, unless there's a VQ w/ more miles than 326K. I agree w/ everyone, it may look nice inside and out, but w/ that many miles the mechanical condition leaves much doubt. I'd pass on it.

Wow thats serious mileage but I'm not surprised, any car can go for even 500 to 600 thousand miles I've seen it. I have a 92 Mazda Protege DX 5 speed with 361,000 miles on it. Sure it has a dent in the front and looks like a piece of **** but everything is original down to the clutch lol

Its all highway miles and 5speed transmissions tends to last way longer than automatics. I would say for the most the guy should sell that Maxima is for $1000 flat thats it but its possible that theres nothing wrong with the engine especially if it has gotten the recommended maintance at all the mileage intervals.
