where can i get parts to build my motor

well i think the title speaks for itself. and what kind of parts would i need to get?

*edit* oh and what parts go in to building a motor besides pistons, and rods. i mean like a total build.

i think you should search the all motor section first, google the parts your interested in, also are you building it for NA purposes or for boost? I would google "vq30de (pistons, rods, etc)" and see what comes up.

I can appreciate their use in specific setups but you do have to weigh their value in relation to what you want to achieve.

unless you're constantly beating on the engine or running high boost, a well maintained VQ30 should be more than enough engine.

WORD WORD...even still there are many stock blocked/internaled vq30s runngin high boost and getting beat on with no problems

how much power gain do you think you will get if you used that import performance #19 w/ 10.5 to 1 comp. ratio?

i suppose that's true as well. unless something is already busted, it may be worth it to replace with an upgrade, but if the stock block is just fine, if it aint broke, don't fix it. stock VQ should be just fine. many testimonials on here.
