well you definitley have a leak but it should start after a couple of attempts. what he means by torque is tighten down the bolts to the manifold they might just came loose a little. underneath the manifold there is a little cave spray in there also thats the bottom part of the manifold gasket. if you do tighten the bolts make sure you use a torque wrench because you dont wanna overtighten those bolts they break easy.

You didn't want to spray the knock sensor directly - just in that valley/cave/whatever where the ks sits under the upper IM, you spray in there, but towards the front where the gasket is. Let us know what happened with your car.

I hate how intermittent my problem is - literally, I would get in my car, and my idle issue will happen every single time I come to a stop (not just applying the brakes either).
Today, however, I had a nice mfing ride - beautiful day in NY, engine sounded strong, STS felt great along with the suspension, and my engine stayed above 650 rpms. I've learned to coast down in gear until 1k rpms, and then my engine won't fall that fast.
I was, however, able to get my engine to do that high pitched whistle coming from my engine at idle when I parked, so there's gotta be a leak somewhere.
