!?Bank1 o2 Sensor?!

The guy in autozone told me that the Bank1 o2 Sensor was bad. My check engine light came on. Can anyone tell me which one that is? Does anyone have a diagram of the 3 sensors for my future reference?!

Thanks for the help!

bank 1 is the sensor located behind the passenger side wheel towards the back. bank 2 is located behind the radiator. they are both the same sensor for the fronts.

I just replaced that one w/ an OEM sensor. The ones I didnt replace are the very front one and the one on the cat. Could it be defective?!

ok so change that one its located on the pipe behind the passenger wheel as stated before. we have three the third is on the pipe after the cat. did you change the one in the front behind the radiator already and how many miles do you have on the car. if your only getting that one code thats the only one you need to change.

Ok, look, I already changed the one by the passenger wheel about 4 months ago. I havent changed the one in the front nor the one by the cat. According to the autozone guy, the one that I recently changed, is the bad one. How can that be?!

well it could be defective but autozone has i yr warranty on them so get a new one. before you do check to see if its plugged in correctly just give it a extra push to make sure. check your 02 fuse in the fuse compartment to make sure its not blown and third if you never changed your front one nows the time it wont hurt. the only other thing is wireing problems or computer. a few yrs ago i kept getting a 02 code and nissan said its your harness or computer so i changed the computer and that solved all my problems. but that is just other scenarios try the free stuff first like checking connection and fuse and getting free replacement from autozone.

Just saying bank 1 doesnt help... Was it bank 1, sensor 1 or sensor 2?

well, my rear one is actually on my cat. As stated before, i just changed bank 1 and replaced it with a brand new OEM one. Maybe its defective. I will check with another autozone to make sure they are giving me the correct code. I will get back to everyone and let you know what the problem was. Thanks
