Which Sensor is this? (pic)

Can anyone identify the sensor circled in red? It's bolted on the side of the throtle body and I've had high idle problems recently and found that sensor to be unplugged. Hope it fixed my problem.

Come on man. Just hop in the car and test drive it for 10 minutes. Let us know. It will add to my pool of knowledge about defective or unplugged TPS.

That's the thing you unplug to adjust your idle (there is a plastic screw on the TB to adjust the idle)

Okay guys, just started the car and the idle seems to be fine now. Thanks for all the great replies.

why do you have to unplug it to adjust...i adjusted it last time with it plugged in

I have a question..When i move my stick shift left and right while in neutral my rpms shoot up..What needs to be changed/adjusted?
