no power to ECU plug
no power to ECU plug
Today, I tried to get a private inspection and a print out of the codes that are causing my check engine light to come on. After trying two shops OBD II computers and autozones handheld computer, it appears no power in getting to the plug. I check my 10A Eng Cont. fuse and its good. Has this happened to anyone elses 4th gen? Any way to fix this?

Did you have the key turned to Ignition when checking?
Connect a test light between pins 16 and 4 of the OBD-II connector, that'll show truly whether there's no power at the port or there's just no signal getting to the diagnostic computers.

1) Yes the car was tested while the key as in IGN and while started and no luck
2) this connector correct? pin 4 and 16 to determine power

just bought a pack of mini fuses and replaced all fuses! no luck..I did some searching a while back on the forums and someone said it could be the ECCS relay under the hood. Anyone know how to go about testing relays?
