CEL ->ECT->harness fault
Couple of days ago I reported that my CEL had returned but that it wasn't the O2 sensors this time, it was the ECT with two codes.
I took it back to the same mech, also asked him to change the oil, and he really surprised me this time: the harness had developed a fault, which is why the ECT codes appeared. The guy seems to be really on the ball to pick that up, most people would change the ECT first and then start
- should be able to pick it up tomorrow, he's fixing the harness problem.

Don't know, I hope to be picking it up later so I will ask him if I can. Half of these conversations are in the form of hand signals!
Like, 'oh it was the gmfgrblstrodo'
me: ??
- 'yes the one that sits behind the gasket that seals the blfgrmnio rod'
This is a guy who, rather than advise his customer to replace a dead alternator, dismantles it, changes the bearings and carbon field brushes, and assembles it again, all in about 30 minutes. Real engineer.
