Overheating ONLY when the A/c is on and..
the car is idling for five or more mins.
97 SE Auto (109K). Owned the car for less than a year and it's a virgin experience with the A/C.Doesnt overheat if it's idling with the A/c OFF. Overheats ONLY with the A/c on and IDLing for 5 mins or more (temp. gauge goes slightly past the 3/4 mark) Turning the A/c OFF results in normal operation of the cooling system.
Any input regarding this problem will be appreciated and I thank everyone in advance.

I would make sure that when you turn on your AC on the radiator fan comes on also and as it idles longer the second one should kick in. It should work somthing like that, if thats not happening then that could be the problem. Does the AC cool as well when idleing?
