Would these lights match?

I've been looking at AE-style clearance lights to complete the "dark" look of my front end lighting. However, I'm not opening up mine myself and no one else will for me, either. So, the only option is to buy. The eBay lights that come pre-AE'd (CE-style lights) look good IMO, but I'm not sure if they'll match the OEM headlights I have. I'm afraid they'll be too "clear" looking.

So, does anyone have this setup on their car? I'd love to see pictures.

kormax97, your headlights look almost identical to mine. Mine are OEMs, but mine are in REALLY good condition. Yours truly do look like OEM ones that have been AE'd. The corners match them pretty well, too.

99se5speed, I think his are OEMs that have been AE'd. I was looking to see if anyone had regualar OEM headlights AE'd and then the aftermarket AE clearance lights off ebay. Thanks, though!

haha CE= mad clear.. OEM= just as clear, but rocks and everything over the years have scrathed them up a bit, it looks pretty good. Honestly I hated those stock corners so this was my fix regardless.

Alright, sounds good. My headlights are in pretty good condition, and I can always polish them up if need be. I'd still like to see pics if you can get them. Thanks!

Looks alright...but I'm not sure if I like how it pretty much puts the bulb on display.

I guess if I don't like these I can always sell them.

how old are your headlights?

if they are old and slightly fading, they will not match. those corners are hella clear.

As I've already stated, my headlights are in VERY good condition. I'd prefer to keep my OEM corners and AE them, but I've tried opening a spare one up before with, well, let's say little success

Nothanx...I'm quite happy with my VLSD, lol

What went wrong with the lights Tatanko? I found them somewhat tricky to pull apart so I just kept sticking them in the oven now and then to soften the glue up. After quite a bit of gentle prying I got them out okay.

If I can do it, anybody should be able to, lol. I'll admit I'm not the brightest person when it comes to this type of stuff.

The one I had in the oven for like 15 to 20 minutes total and it STILL would not budge. I ended up breaking the corner off the lense. With that I just said screw it, it's not worth it.

I could have someone else do it, but I don't want to ship them and the only person I know that can do them is caracicatriz and he won't do it because he had so much trouble with his own.
