Sagging rear 97 GXE maxima????

Ive got a sagging rear 97 GXE maxima???? I have installed new tokico shocks and springs. I thought that would have taken care of problem but did not. What could be the reason. It looks like I need to change something but all I see is the beam what do I need to fix a bushing or ???? I have noticed this very rarely on the the 4th gen maximas only on really beaten up ones.

thanks jl

do you have a system in the trunk?

The springs also have to settle.

Yeah there is but before system it looks wrong. When people get inside it looks really bad. It doesnt hit tire but looks hovering very close. I am going to keep reading or might put back stock springs in rear to give an extra inch back. To level off but dont feel that is the proper fix.

is the front end normal height or has it been raised up? if the front end is up, the rear will be forced down. otherwise, you have the wrong springs in the rear or excessive weight in the rear.

No the front end is good. I know what you mean but the back is off. I wanted to know other than shocks and springs is there anything else that could make the rear sag. If it hit something or objects struck the undercarriage could something underneath need repair. I was reading in the sticky and showed the rear as a multi link beam. Is there something there that can affect rear sagging???

The wheel wells are smaller in the rear so the gap looks smaller. You can get spring coil boosters or poly spacers to help. Or you could install a different set of rear springs.

many auto parts stores have the coil boosters that are metal and spread the coils apart. Im not sure where to get the spacers, but progress and es make them.

maybe it's the bushings of the multi link beam that are too worn. I'm planning to replace mines soon.
