I put Dropzone springs in my Altima and never had any problems.. but never in a Max..

I went with Tokico Illuminas and Eibach Springs! I like 'em a lot!! I was originally looking into Tein H-tech or H&R Springs, I have heard nothing but good stuff about those too! Mine is not the cheapest setup, but works very well for me! You saw how my car rode, with 4 people in it!

If you want less expensive struts, maybe Tokico Blues.. for a 1.5" drop. They are not recommended for drops any lower than that!

DONT BUY THEM! They are junk. There are many cases of them breaking.

Stay dropped around 1.5" with Tein H Tech, H&R, Eibach, Tokico, or Progress. If you have the money get Konis other wise Illunminas or AGX (in that order) will do. Dont buy non adjustables.

Bad Quote uninformative an pointless

DJ and Jsutter I I am working with about $400, and to me that’s a lot of $$ and I don’t want to waste it,

DJ
The Tokico’s Illumins are like $400-450 a set, and the Eibach Springs are about $200. Are the Tokio Blues also know as Tokio hp’s? If so I think I going to get a set for like $270-300. Your Car did ride nice ESPECIALLY with 4 people in it! But its out of my price range because I want to buy rims & tires

JSutter
The Tein H. Tech springs are only $115-130

So pending DJ info on those blues/hp”s shocks I think I am going to go with the Tein H. Tech springs and the Tokio hp’s

I definitely believe you get what you pay for. Springs/Struts are a wise investment but spending that money well is the most important. I got my rims last year and just finally got my suspension because I did not want to cheap out on it. I went with Eibach Pro-kit with KYB AGX. I love it! As most people say on here, do the drop before the rims....let me say they are right! Even with my stock sawblades I love how my car looks now. It definitely should have came stock from the factory this way instead of the 4x4 original way. I would just save up some more cash and get something that you KNOW is good and worth the money. Just my .02

hey guys, i dont mean to pry but the 15 post thing, im a newbie, very annoying. i just bought a 1996 SE 5spd a little under a month ago and i love the friggin car an amazing machine. i was looking to replace the suspension in a few months cause my shocks right now are caprice waterbed handling and i was thinking of getting the KYB AGX's and eibachs or tein s-tech. i know the tein offers a little more drop which i think is nice but my friend thats a tech at Sears is totally against dropping it, he said not to do it cause ill regret it and hate it. anybody who have these setups, how do you like it? and also DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY REGRETS ABOUT DROPPING THEIR CAR??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! any of you guys that live in FL? anyone that lives in a state with snow? i might move out of FL next year to a colder state. thank you guys and god bless

i have stechs paired with my agx adjustables. i love the look. the drop is decent enough. not too low...yet not too high.

as far as drivability.....its not too harsh of a ride. its not as smooth as a stock setup...but its comfy enough for me. to each their own.

diff ppl will have diff opinions depending on the taste.
