Transmission Shift Lag...PLEASE ADVISE

I have 130k miles on my 97 maxima. About 15k miles ago I started to get a shift lag between 2nd and 3rd gear at 2k RPM. I have checked all fluids, I had my drive belts replaced and still nothing has changed. Does any one have any points of advise, transmission valve body?, exhaust back pressure due to a leak?. Please help.

Regards,
Sean

when was the last time you changed the fluid and filter? if its been a while change it. when tranny fluid gets old and funky itll lag betweeen shifting especially if the tranny filter is clogged. try that itll cost you like $20 or $25. also check your ground points. i keep reading on this board how important it is to get ground to auto tranny's. if none of that helps...take it to a couple of tranny shops and see what they tell you, maybe they have a guy thats worked with max's and can tell you right away

good luck and god bless

I had the fluids changed about 30k miles ago. The fluid is still pink and the levels are fine. To be honest everything was fine I started to put the car in neutral during stops to conserve gas. Could the CPU need a refresh since the driving style changed?
