Unusual noise coming from headers-99max!

Just recently i have been hearing weird sounds coming from the headers area, it sounds more like a different type of engine and not the usual sound of a maxima. When i shut off the car i hear a slurping noise coming from that area. I have about 67,000 miles, and i did an oil change this past weekend.

thicker or thinner oil could cause a slight different noise, is it verry noticable, some tiem being over-sencitive to your car causes more problems then its worth

timmin chain is on the front of the motor and wouldnt be heard around the header. Its not uncommon for the metal to ping when cooling off.

You hear slurping from both banks?

i hear the slurping when the car shuts off and hood is open.

But when the car is cold, and getting warmed up, i hear noises from header area.

Can anyone explain the timing chain problem that exists?
