1.) Are 97-99 Foglights plastic or glass?
2.) Would a 96 GLE be wired for foglights?

Thanks

The foglights on my 99 are glass. Just think how pitted plastic would get that close to the road.

On 3rd gen cars the non-SE cars were wired for fogs even if they weren't there so maybe you can assume Nissan stayed with that but I could be wrong.

Yeah I heard that our cars are prewired if your didn't come with fogs. But you have to get the stalk and the relay. And the 97-99 fogs are glass. I assume that the 95-96 fogs are glass too.

They are glass, and THEY BREAK VERY EZ! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you put a clear protective film over the lenses. I bought some new ones, and one of them broke in a week! SUCKS!

I wouldn't chance it. Save your self some money in the long run, get a nice film to protect your fogs.

I believe 3M makes a protective film for glass. This should work nicely. When I get my new lense, I'll be putting a couple layers on cause this is my 2nd set of fogs.
