Greddy SP1 hangs too low...anyone have this problem or have pics?

I mounted my Greddy SP1 muffler today, I had Budget install it....I turned it into an axleback bolt-on to bolt up with my Budget B Pipe. The only problem is that the tip hangs about 1" low from the bumper.

Has anyone had this problem? What did you do to fix it? Budget said that they couldn't simply bend the hangers, and that they would need to mount new hangers onto the muffler.

Anyone have pics of their SP1 mounted on their car?

isnt there a hoseclamp mod in the aim to raise the muffler tip to near flush against bumper? i imagine the muffler would melt the bumper cover if it touched it continuously

If hoseclamps don't bring it up enough, you wrap a 2" or 3" hoseclamp around the rubber hanger and tighten it. If that doesn't bring it up enough you can buy smaller rubber hanger at autozone that is a cheap way to bring it up and you can still put hoseclamps around them to center it perfect. Bring your oem rubber hangers to compare so you can get smaller ones and hose clamps.

Pics of the hoseclamp mod:

It effectively tightens the rubber hanger and makes the rear section move around less.

It tucked mine right up to the bumper as well as centering it.

Well I did the mod and it raised the muffler about 1cm or so, which is where I want it. It also tightened the hell out of my rubber hangers, so I do not expect the muffler to shake anymore over bumps.
