accelerating vibration help

when i accelerate i feel a vibration on the gas pedal but it goes away when im coasting or when the foot is off the brakes. i just got my wheels balanced, rotors changed and had the car lowered. so it only happens when im accelerating and not at any other time. it gets a bit annoying that at times i can feel the vibration in the steering wheel. any ideas or advice would be helpful.thanks guys

Engine mounts come to mind.
(unless you have a misfire, but I assume you would have mentioned if the check engine light were flashing)

Yeah, I kinda got the same problem, but only when I accelerate near WOT, its not that bad, but hey who knows. No check engine light is on, and I'm pretty sure there isn't anything wrong with my motor mounts. Im replacing my knock sensor in a few days, maybe that will do the trick for me. Do our cars always throw the CEL if the engine is misfiring?

If the engine is misfiring the light will flash. If you have a weak spark or worn plugs it might not... it might just run rough.

jedinyte- sounds like a sticking inner cv joint . I had same symptoms --
also - after lowering. Replaced both axles (lifetime warranty at
Autozone) back to silky smooth acceleration.

^^^ 2nd one of my inner CVs started making noise after I lowered the car. The vibration when accelerating is a classic symptom of a worn inner cv joint.

how can you detect weak spark? i feel my car vibrating and jolting and even bogging at WOT, and i was about to purchase all new coilpacks but im not getting a code for a misfire. the plugs are only a couple months old. maybe 5 at most.
