how difficult to replace a front wheel bearing??

how difficult to replace a front wheel bearing??

has anyone done this themselves before, and if so what would i need?

i did it on a 92se. You have to remove the hub and have the old bearing pressed out and new one pressed in. You can remove the hub but will have to take it to someone with a hydraulic press if you dont have one. make sure you replace the seals on both sides as well.

I've done several of them and it really isn't that bad if you have access to a 10 ton press. People have done them without it but I wouldn't even try it.

bearing

i was told by someone from courtesy nissan in texas a while ago that you could do it yourself, and only need basic tools nothing about a press. So i got the part and took everything apart,I could not get the damn bearing out. I found out from a friend of mine that you needed a press to remove the bearing i was so pissed i had to put it all back together and bring it to a shop. What a headach that was.
