Front hub bearing

I just purchased a complete spindle and hub assembly from a junk yard. the hub bearing seems to be in good condition. There is some play in it very little like a 16th of an inch at most. Is that still to much or is that the way it is suppose to be?

Just a thought? I new bearing is only like 45 bucks, why would you not just spend that little bit of extra money and have a shop press out the old and in the new? you've already got the spindle out. It'll take them like 10 minutes, if that. Don't take a chance, just spend the little extra now. If you're really strapped for cash, you can cheaper ones for like $30 from the local parts houses.

There should be NO play.

I doubt that you can. I thought of that last night but after looking at it I dont think that will work. Im just gonna have my friend do it at his shop. But i would definatly have it pressed back in because its not a cheap bearing.
