Does the 300zx fuel filter fit in the Max without modification?

Does the 300zx fuel filter fit in the Max without modification? I switching the filter but i just want to make sure its a direct fit. Thanks for the help.

IIRC, you need to sort of bend the bracket that holds it. The Z32 filter is wider, so basically all you do is "make" it fit by stretching out the bracket. I'd know because a shop was too stupid to figure it out to put mine on for me

I am experienced at streching things out of place so it was easy for me

I only weigh 106 lbs. What does that have to do with streching stuff out of place. I have Popeye forearms, everything i touch brakes or cracks.

I just squeezed the filter into the mounting bracket. It still holds it fine. The O/D is only probably an inch or two bigger.

I just pushed it in and the pressure holds it on, didn't need to bend the bracket at all
