Stripped Stud

I was working under the car today and stripped one of the studs on the rear exhaust manifold to the y-pipe. I'll have to analyze the damage tomorrow when it is light out. Can that stud be removed and replaced without too much trouble or does it require a whole new manifold? Hopefully I'll just need a new stud. If anyone knows how I should go about this, please let me know.

the 3rd gen forums have alot of knowledge on this subject, their studs break all the time. Ask around, shouldnt be TOO hard, but it depends on the condition of the stud and the exhaust manifold.

i am assuming those can be replaced.........they usually arent too bad because its a pretty strait shot to them....SOAK it with Penetrating oil use some good vise grips...or goto sears and geta bolt out kit.......but u can always drill or torch them out.....it will take a lil while...u can also take it to a muffler shop where they will charge u about 2hrs of labor YUCK
